Rosebud limited scopes best civil aviation exporters award.


Civil Aviation Authority held Silver Jubilee celebrations that climaxed with an Awards dinner at which some of the key stakeholders who have contributed to the growth of the industry over the last 25 years were recognised at Kampala Serena Hotel on Thursday 8 December, 2016.
Several other activities including a blood donation exercise at Entebbe Airport, sponsorship of a Seniors Golf Open and the November Corporate League outing were earlier held to mark the 25 years of existence.

It was on this function that Ruparelia Group under its floriculture companies Rosebud Limited and Premier Roses scooped an award of being among the best exporters in Uganda.

Ruparelia Group has had far-reaching success in the floriculture market in Uganda and the companies have made a name for themselves as front-runners in the industry. Rose Bud Limited and Premier Roses do not only excel in the production of a multitude of premium high-quality rose varieties but also in exports, commanding over 35% of the rose-export market in Uganda.
The Ruparelia Group places great importance and attention on reducing the environmental impact its companies have on the environment, and its ventures in floriculture are no exception. Rosebud and Premier Roses adhere to the strict, high standards of Good Agricultural Produce (GAP) by reduced use of agrochemicals, preserving local habitats, and greater efficiency of natural resources, making these companies exemplary in the Ugandan floriculture industry
Based in Entebbe, Uganda, Rosebud Ltd is the country’s largest exporter of roses commanding around 35% of Uganda’s rose-export market.

The greenhouses cover a total of 42 hectares producing and exporting over 9 million stems per month. The greenhouses are supplied by a modern, automated water-pumping unit, which feeds the fully computerized hydroponics systems.
Rosebud LTD produces a wide variety of flowers including: Red Calypso (bright red), Viva (bright yellow), Valentino (dark red), Chelsea (orange), Akito (white), Marie Claire (orange flame), Blushing Akito (pink), Poeme (pink), Meera (champagne), Lambada (orange) and Samoa (deep orange).
