DJ Ciza (right) and DJ Mary Jo (Second Right) with comedian Patrick Idringi on stage at UG Pineapple party
Doing even better as an MC, Salvador engaged the crowd and challenged them to dance competitions. When a group of fishermen sailed their boat towards the dock, Idringi invited them and challenged them to a rap battle before rewarding them a bottle of the fine gin.
But the ultimate entertainers were DJ Ciza and DJ Mary Jo. When he was on the turntables serving the partiers a mix of Uganda, Nigerian, South African, Caribbean and reggae music, nearly everyone was on their feet to dance to DJ Cizas mixes. And yet when DJ Mary Jo took her turn on the deck, the ladies and their counterparts were left wild with excitement.
The Uganda Waragi Pineapple team ensured that cocktails, bottles of the Pineapple gin and food were in constant supply for the partiers who were dancing in the picnic grounds or those who were taking a dip in the swimming pool or reliving their childhoods on the swings and trampoline.
