CAA  Injects   shs 25M  Into  Uganda Seniors Golf Tournament

The Civil Aviation Authority  has  injected  over twenty   million
shillings (shs25M) into this year’s  Uganda  Seniors  Golfers
Tournament to be held over the weekend at the Kitante golf course.
The aviation authority is sponsoring  the  Uganda Seniors’  Golfing
Society  in  organizing  the year’s   biggest  golfers’ event ,scheduled  for  1st -2rd  Dec 2018.
Over  two hundred  senior and amateur golfers  from the  East African region  are expected  to participate in the  2days  event  and
flagship event  kick starting the aviation week.
The aviation authorities headed  by Mr.  Vianney  Mpungu  Luggya also public affairs manager  said at the official sponsorship unveiling on Tuesday  that  Civil Aviation Authourity has increased  its
sponsorship package from shs20-25M as part of the organization’s   pay back to the community including  golfers who   are frequent  users  of their services  at   Entebbe International Airport.
The Uganda Senior Golfers society chairman, Jackson Karyagokwe added that over 30prizes and trophies including cash token to be given away after a 2days’ event where senior golfers are expected including John Nasasira, Patrick Billy, Suresh Patel, Paddy Muramiirah, Hon Ben Wacha, Robert Katuntu and others.
He added that senior golfers from different parts of the country
have already booked and registered to participate in this year’s
golfing event  including from the neighborhood countries like Kenya
and Rwanda. Registration  fees shs50,000/= for each participate.
