The government has been urged to consider investing more in the sports subsector because new global research indicates that sports has become a new source of income for millions of people.

The appeal was over the weekend made by the city property mogul Dr.SudhirRuparelia while addressing parents and students of Delhi public school International (DPSI) during their inter house sports competitions.

The stiff and entertaining competitions held at Kampala parents school (KPS) grounds were worn by Stanley house who garnered 487 points followed by Burton (357) while Speke emerged third with (337) and Livingstone trailed with (252) points respectively.
Dr.Sudhir who owns the only school in the country that offers the Indian curriculum noted that government should consider pumping more resources in the sports subsector because it has become the new source of income for the sportsmanship and revenue basket for the governments.

“We strongly believe that government needs to invest more resources in this sports sector because it has become a direct source of income and a livelihood for millions of young people across the World” observed Sudhir.
TheDPSI principal Swaminathan Kannan commended Dr.Sudhir who was flanked by his sweetheart Jyotsna Ruparelia for making the right decision to invest in education of children of the World saying it was not in vain but a worthwhile decision to transform lives of children.
The Kampala parents school (KPS) principal Daphine Kato who hosted the games on behalf of all schools under the Ruparelia group commended Sudhir for his continued determination to offer the much needed funding and infrastructure support to all the schools saying they collectively appreciate immensely such kind heart.
