Victoria University’s Vice Chancellor Creates Record As Is World Youngest Vice Chancellor


Dr. Krishna N. Sharma, the Vice Chancellor of Victoria University in Kampala has another achievement to celebrate after Unique World Records as Limited, a registrar of records based in India accepted his claim as the world’s youngest Vice Chancellor.


Dr. Krishna who first joined Victoria University as dean faculty of health sciences in January 2017, was later on 9th July, 2017 elevated to the university’s top administrative job of vice chancellorship at the youthful age of 32 years of age, 6 months, 15 days.

“We are pleased to inform you that your claim has been approved as an ‘Official Unique World Records’ record for ‘youngest vice chancellor’ Record details has been entered into our registrar,” a letter to Dr. Sharma from Dr. Desraj Goyal, the Chief Editor of Unique World Records Limited reads in part.

Born in Uttar Pradesh, India, Dr. Sharma is a renowned academician, celebrity physiotherapist and prolific author. He has written over 100 books on medical and health sciences, music and literature and a few of them were listed in the bestsellers list on

The renowned academician and researcher, who travels across the globe to teach, has made 3 records in writing and penned 22 bestselling books. He recently while at Victoria University released a book titled “Complementary and Alternative Medicine for Depression,”

He has previously worked as a dean at a Cameroonian university, St. Louis University. He joined Victoria University in January 2017 as Dean Faculty of Health Sciences at Victoria University Kampala before being appointed Vice Chancellor
